Why Is This Tank Called A Tank Anyway?
Why is it called a tank top, you may ask? I honestly have no clue so I did what any curious person would do and Googled it! Apparently, they are named after the tank bathing suits popular in the 1920’s. Needless to say I am happy our bathing suits have evolved from that and into this super stylish type of top.
