GAMMA PHI BETA

Founded on November 11,1874, Gamma Phi Beta became an international sorority formed from Syracuse University with the objective to inspire the highest type of womanhood. There are well over 200,000 initiated members, and 130 charter collegiate chapters!

Gamma Phi Beta was found by four girls over 140 years ago, who wished to organize their own society rather than join the then two-year-old Alpha Phi Fraternity. These collegiate women were looking for support in a time when they were looked down upon because of their gender. Since then, Gamma Phi Beta has impacted over 200,000 sisters internationally!

Organizations Girls on the Run, Camp Fire and Girl Guides of Canada are the official supported groups by Gamma Phi Beta. Local chapters support many other philanthropies, as well.

Make sure to plan ahead and get your JennaBenna Gamma Phi Beta Founder’s Day sorority shirt before November 11 so that you can join in the celebration of the sorority's fall founding.
