DELTA DELTA DELTA
Delta Delta Delta, or more commonly known as Tri-Delta, was founded by ladies Sarah Ida Shaw, Eleanor Dorcas Pong, Florence Isabelle Stewart and Isabel Morgan Breed on November 27, 1888. Although three other women's fraternities were already at their school, Boston University, at this time, these women still worked together to create a fraternity that "shall be kind alike to all and think more of a girl's inner self and character than of her personal appearance."
In 1999, Tri-Delta partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and even was named partner of the year (and the first to do so!). There are over 200,000 initiates making Tri Delta one of the largest National Panhellenic Conference sororities.
When Tri-Delta partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the chapters planned and created endless events and fundraising activities to benefit the children and research costs. As of January 2018, Tri-Delta has raised $30 million for their partner St. Jude!
Make sure to plan ahead and get your JennaBenna Tri-Delta Founder’s Day sorority shirt before November 27 so that you can join in the celebration of the sorority's fall founding.
